States of Confinement is a theatrical mosaic composed of four one-act plays within a play. Each vignette explores psychological or physical entrapment: a remote bar with strangers from different nations; a conference room of intellectuals clashing over ideas; a jailed string quartet; and two neglected children trapped in a home with their emotionally distant mother.
